Well then she just called you a poverty stricken street kid !
I have never heard anyone use this phrase prior to her !!
But I bet the winners of the Great Indian fake socialist sweepstakes say this all the time at beggar kids at traffic lights.
This is what a gutter snipe means :
1. A street urchin.
2. A person of the lowest class.
1. a child who spends most of his time in the streets, esp in a slum area
2. a person regarded as having the behaviour, morals, etc., of one brought up in squalor
[originally a name applied to the common snipe (the bird), then to a person who gathered refuse from gutters in city streets]
Ms Sagarika Ghose called him a gutter snipe (i.e. a poor street kid of poverty). I checked Prasannas twitter account when I wrote this post, he said something completely innocent and in a respectful manner.
Where are the left wing poverty entrepreneurs now ?
I am astonished at what the media can get away with. Shashi Tharoor gets pulled up for the completely benign ‘cattle class comment’ by the same media.
