Pavalareru Perunchitiranaar Tamil hate book freely sold on Amazon

Pavalareru Perunchitiranaar ( பாவலரேறு பெருஞ்சித்திரனார் ) பாவலர் ஏறு Poet Bull is a very prominent figure in Tamil identity politics. He straddles both the Dravidian movement and the Tamil separatist movement he is introduced in schools as well.

I am going though almost the entire corpus of Dravidian ideological material. I recently started reading his his book ஆரிய பார்ப்பனரின் அளவிறந்த கொட்டங்கள் – The uncontrolled antics of Ariyan Brahmins. Even for Dravidian Tamil standards, this book is remarkable for the volume of anti Tamizh Brahmin venom – a corpus of 44 essays of about 300 pages. Page after page of poisonous accusations of all sorts.

Imagine my shock when I found this book was freely available on Amazon. Will they allow a Anti Semitic book of the same nature ?

Due to the Tamil language barrier, American social media and e-commerce giants are unable to handle hate literature in Tamil language and respond to complaints. This goes for YouTube and Twitter as well. This loophole is leveraged to the hilt by Dravidian Tamils.

Notice that it is classified under Religion & Spirituality > New Age & Spirituality . To a person that does not know the language he can look at the cover and the brahmins there and think this is some kind of occult New Age Spirituality.

To give you an idea of the type of content in this book. Straight up here is an excerpt from the very first essay, there are forty-four of them.

accusing tamizh brahmins govt employees of wantonly indulging in corruption to create dissatisfaction govt. Accuses brahmin women employees of unspeakable immoral conduct, brahmin lawyers of using their women to win cases..

these days govt offices there is corruption, bribery, purposeful slowness, preventing those who you dont like from getting anything, preferring those who you like. these kinds of corruption mainly tamizh brahmins are responsible. they are doing it on purpose so that people will get dissatisfaction on (dravidian) govt. they cover this up in many ways by complaining about corruption themselves first, from rajaji to the lowest brahmin employee in education department they pretend and speak as if they are honest.

nowadays in govt offices tamizh brahmin women employees are growing in number. these womens immoral behavior .. to tell this itself our tongue will feel shy. tamizh brahmin lawyers few will use their women wives and daughters to win court cases, this is another known history. ..”

This is just the first of forty-four, I havent read them all but in the first ten there are all kinds of accusations thrown at the Brahmins. An extraordinary deluge. Different and moderate content from this Tamil-Dravidian intellectual is taught at school level, it should not be a simple slip into this kind of deep hate lit.

Now I have no idea if Amazon has Tamil speaking people on staff to verify complaints . I do not think they do. I am anyway recording this as a chronicle on this blog.
