Editorial in Dravidian official paper on Jews and Tamil Brahmins
In the southern Indian state of Tamilnadu, the ruling ideology for the past 100 years is called “Dravidian” ideology. The party currently in power the Dravida Munnetra Kazhakam (DMK) is the political wing of this ideology. Their ideological parent is called Dravidar Kazhakam (simply DK). The following editorial appeared in the official periodical of the Dravidian Kazhagam called Viduthalai on 12-6-2021. A publicly distributed periodical this article is in the larger public interest.

In the Sangh Parivar Brahmin paper called Dinamalar there was a letter to editor titled “Jews and Brahmins. Full of lies and fiction, this letter alone is proof how they still continue to behave even in 2021. “One piece of rice is enough to judge the whole pot’
The letter is quoted below (italics mine)
In Germany, what Hitler did with the Jewish cleansing, the Tamizh Brahmin cleansing in Tamilnadu is no less then that.
As per Indian law, speaking ill and attacking by spreading canards against any community is against the law. But in Tamilnadu, those in power themselves are doing this offence. The word “Paapaan” itself is deliberate slur, but as a minority community the Tamizh Brahmins are not even opposing that and are accommodating even that. The larger Tamil Hindu community which would protect against this demonization has been split into many groups and many have fallen into the Dravidian magic. Various organizations who will jump to the field to fight for Christians and Muslims right do not bother about Tamizh Brahmins.
They have been protecting Hinduism in Tamil soil from time immemorial. Ancient Kings protected them but todays democratic forces are keen on destroying them. Tamil Brahmins who have lived with dignity, for the last 70 years have been subjected to harmful forces, TBrahmin women are ridiculed in Cinema and in other forms. The dictator Hitler used Jew hatred to deceiving and fooling Germans into consolidating behind him and then he committed atrocities.Similarly Dravidian-Tamil leaders used TamilBrahmin-hatred to distract the Tamil people have used this strategy for a long time. Violent protests against the government, murder for hire, dacoity have they committed such crimes. The Tamizh Brahmins are patriotic people, educated, and god fearing, still they continue to be defamed in various ways. The conspiracy of hate against one group has been going on for long. Please someone step forward to stop it.
The above letter was in the newspaper Dinamalar.
In one way it is correct that Tamizh Brahmins have compared themselves to Jews.
Who are Jews ?
Jews are a group that spread throughout Europe by doing dishonest undertakings they have advertised themselves. Usury money lending, gobbling up lands, financial frauds — they are experts in this.
Even now, “the ghost who came to beg drove out the local ghosts” like this Tamil Proverb. the Jews who came to live jointly with others have now got their own place Palestine and creating untold miseries there.
Like Tamizh Brahmins, the Jews also believe they are divine people and they are very haughty about it.
The only Indian Prime Minster to visit Israel is Narendra Modi only.
Malegaon blast related Shrikanth Pandit sought Israel help only while planning in secret meetings. The close relationship of Israel and Sangh Parivar in Malegaon blast attack has been discovered by Hemanth Karkare in form of evidences.
That is why Brahmins are identifying with Jews and talking like this.
Is what is stated in Dinamalar true? Are Brahmins affected?
Brahmins are merely 5% in Indian population but in Parliament they are 48%, in state legislature they are 36%, in Governor post they are 50%, cabinet secretary 33%, ministerial secretaries 54%, Indian Union chief secretary 67%, in Politics(?) 58.7%, university vice chancellor 51%, supreme court justice 50%, public sector 57%, IAS 72%, IPS 61%, etc etc. This is the state.
They are still not coming to egalitarian state. What is the philosophy of wearing a sacred thread. Is it not to show we are twice born and superior. Can a nonbrahmin alteast be a peon in Sankara Mutt (Kanchi)?
If Subramanian Swamy visits Sankara Mutt (Kanchipuram) he will set equal height to the Sankarachariyar, but if Pon Radhakrishnan visits he will on the floor. Right?
Think about who the paper Dinamalar is batting for.
Instead of calling as Paapaan, what is the purpose of calling as Brahmin? By calling them as Brahmin are they expecting to call nonbrahmins as Shudras (children of Prostitutes) in 2021, are they expecting this?
If he says Shudra, get angry and thrash him. That is the fundamental basis of Self Respect movement’s voice.

We can discuss about the various strategem used here, such as quoting irrelevant factually wrong numbers deliberately widening the denominator, appeal to passion (sons of prostitutes). I will explain each of these later. The purpose of this post is to merely translate what is being said in the highest ideological levels of Dravidian ideology.

The grammar in the prose is a bit off on purpose. I try to keep the translations close to the original Tamil flow so that you can trace the individual sentences as much as possible.

Have you noticed how even in proper nouns Viduthalai goes uber-tamil withஅய்ரோப்பா, சிறீகாந்த் etc
But they write துவிஜ and they most importantly write ஜாதி and do not Tamilize it to சாதி.
It is a very conscious choice. The idea is to keep impression on the readers that the idea of jaati is external to Tamil society proper and enforced from without by the cultural invaders. Veeramani has gone on record mentioning this.
The hyper-careful ways in which this subliminal messaging is maintaining is simply without parallel.
Anway, as I mentioned in some other comments, the ‘ஒண்ட வந்த பிடாறி’ analogy is accepted by a much much wider group of people than we may be willing to believe. Forget the wokes who take on the flavour-de-jeur,
even decent folks who would shy away from such articulation do believe this analogy at some level.
Hahahe.. I hear you. It is a very fine tuned piece, like most of the Dravidian material. It has to play on the subconscious of the average Tamilian who is their target.
Two stratagems you may have missed :
1. Inserting into the subconscious a framework for analysing the whole. This ஒரு பானை சோற்றுக்கு ஒரு சோறு பதம்.. is an extraordinary guideline when used for a birth group, a schematic that isnt defined by behavior or association like Party membership. They are inserting that into the subconscious of the avg Nonbrahmin Tamil reader as a framework for seeing the Brahmin. Can we have the same rule for Vellalas? or Chettiars? no because that framework isnt installed into the psyche.
2. The harms they cite as a pretext for this level of hate is laughable. It all amounts to a disrespect for Nonbrahmins by citing a random incident at Kanchi Mutt . i Have noticed an almost animal obsession with the Kanchi Mutt in Dravidian literature.
Here is the right way to analyze ” சூத்திரன் என்றால் ஆத்திரம் கொண்டு அடி .. ” we were 100 yrs ahead of the woke world. Now, they understand that microaggressions or verbal slights not only a form of violence but they can be responded to with physical force. And that can be justified as self defence.
The numbers cited are either bogus or apply to “all India” a fake denominator we are only talking about cleansing in Tamilnadu. Where are the numbers for Tamilnadu. Imagine an ideology that chooses to be fake .. like a thief .. or a rat stealing a karuvaadu without getting caught.
It fascinates me to no end. I dont think India can deal with it, the intellectual energy and focus needed for an outsider to probe is simply not possible.

let us not get ahead of ourselves ; TN in 2021 in far, far from Nazi Germany of 1930. TN as part of democratic India is still democratic- with the usual inefficiencies of Indian democracy. Unlike Germany or Europe, Tamilnadu does NOT have a history of anti-brahminism before 20th century. If anything brahmo philia is in the DNA of Tamil culture as revealed in it’s literature for moe than 2000 years. Europe and Germany did not have the benefit of thinkers and sages like Thiruvalluvar , Azvars and Nakyanmars or Ilango or kamban. Germany biggest icon was Martin Luther and he was a violent anti-semite.
However , the hatred rhetoric of dravdiian movement is not good. People can change thier attitudes through generations of hate propoganda. It only takes a violent minority and plaint/aquiscient majority to tolerate actual vioence.
Nazism is easiest to defeat at early stages . All it needs for right thinking people is to expose nazi sentimenst wherever it appaers and disagree and disapprove it. That has notb happened in TN yet. It may take 20 years or 50 years for things to turn ugly , however it can be prevented

What Swami Vivekananda witnessed in Madras state:

True during Vivekananda’s time there were mostly landless poor . Those who were suppressing these landless poor joined Juctics party and subsequently Drav movements. Even today Rajan, the DMK finance minister comes from such a family. Don’t forget , Tamilnadu was by that time of Vivekananda more than 150 years under British rule , who colelcted taxes through big landlords (like PTR Rajan) . British rule resulted in many famines and famine deaths including , “dathu varuda panjam”.
Brahmins being made a scapegoat has nothing to do with poverty in those days and i don’t know why you are brining poverty at the time of vivekanada into justifying nazi type hatred for barhmins by dravidian movement. Even in 1968 when Kilvenmani atrocity took place in which 42 dalits were burnt alive, E.V.ramasamy naicker instad of condoling and sympathising with victims took the side of landlords as they belonged to his caste

It may be a bit simplistic and amateurish but I reckon it is reasonably in the right direction insofar as pointing out the exact data gaps that need filling : i.e. historical and simulated splits by poor-rural-govt school students in each reservation category and by reservation category in GEN pool.
I am not being naive. I know this is the exact kind of info that the powers that be prefer to sit on for obvious reasons. But atleast this much needs to be pointed out.
On SocMed I saw most anti-NEET representations were simply repeating the emotional assertions or making appeals based on principles of federalism etc.
OTOH most of the pro-NEET were making noises on the lines of ‘meri’t, need for regularization, and what not.
IMO neither of these arguments are relevant to what this commission is supposed to do: MEASURE the impact.
